Functionalities of the site

"Podcast" is a combination of "iPod" and "broadcasting". The podcast function allows you to download content as a sound file then listen to it on an MP3 player without being connected to the internet.

Subscribing to the podcast feed means you can automatically download and listen to new pages as they are added to the site. To subscribe to the podcast feed:

• download and install a podcast software (generally free of charge), such as iTunes, Winamp or Juice,
• copy the address of the podcast feed from the Lafarge website and paste it into your podcast software,
• each time you plug your MP3 player into your computer, the player will recover and download the content from the feed.

You can bookmark a page and share its content with your friends thanks to the main existing social bookmarking tools: Facebook, Delicious, Twitter, Technorati, Stumbleupon, LinkedIn, Yahoo Bookmark, Google Bookmark.
This function is available on most pages. To use it:

• click on the "Bookmark" button on the top right of the page,
• a new window appears,
• click on the icon you want that represents a social bookmarking tool,
• follow the instructions.

You can store a page from the site in your browser's memory so you can access it more easily in the future. This function is available on most pages. To use it:

• click on the  "Favorites" button on the top right of the page,

follow the instructions supplied by your browser.

You can print the content of most of the pages on the Lafarge site:

• click on the "Print" button at the top right of the page,

• the page to be printed will open in a new window,
• click on "Print" in the dialog box which will open.

You can also use the "print" function offered by your browser.

You can send the content of a page on the Lafarge website to 1 or more recipients. To do this:

• click on the "Send" button at the top left of the page,

complete the form (e-mail addresses are not stored and are not used for any other purpose).
